End of week one summary!

The end of week one has arrived. It is not a long time so far but each week counts and I have seen some results of my exercising already. I started the week around 180 and ended it at 176 so that is fair progress in terms of the weight loss and the goal of once again fitting in the work pants that I no longer fit in.

As for the over all distance, steps, and other numbers I am very happy with thing currently. Total miles this week is 14.78. I also started to add running into the walk and the plan for the moment is to run for 5 minutes every 15 minutes. I am going to shorten that to every 10 minutes do a 5 minute run but right now I am not at the point where I can do that. I have to get further along in my journey before I think I can get to just running. My lungs can keep up, my legs feel fine, and my back has no issues but I run out of juice after 5 minutes of running and need to keep at it to increase my stamina.

You can see the results of the walks/runs in the image above and I only missed two days. I took the screenshot on Saturday so I could have time to write a post and get it at least a little edited before Sunday. I missed two days this week and I am planning on doing better next week. I missed Wed becuase of the issues with not preparing on Tuesdays walk and causing some chafing that I did not want to make worse. I also missed Friday as one of my kids got sick and I ended up having to deal with that so I was not able get on the treadmill.

I was really hoping to get out and do something outside but the weather this week was not in my favor and next week is not looking favorable either. I have my bike all ready to go for a ride so in a few weeks I will have a ride listed in at least one of the exercises. For now it will be focusing on the treadmill and keeping at it as hard as I can. I will still not add weights until I hit 165 but I have those set up as well so I don't have to take extra time thinking about them when its time to start lifting.

Sticking with the 1600 calories has not been too hard. I have been hungier than if I were not exercising but I am still eating what ever I want so its not been too bad. I did cut out the middle of the day snacking and that is something I should not have been doing anyway.

I am off to continue the journey! Have a wonderful day and thank you for reading!
