Sunday Update on progress.

  I have been doing very good again. I had reached a plateau last week or so I thought anyway but the end of this week was much better. The screenshot if from yesterday because I forgot to weigh myself today and get the numbers. I rushed out of the house to go for a bike ride and just grabbed my water and left. There was no time to weigh in.  I have been doing very good on the diet I set up for myself. Which I thought I was going to have a harder time with but after a little bit it changed and I feel like I could stick with how I am doing it for a very long time. I am not saying no to "good" foods I am just making sure that I keep with in my calorie limits and do not go crazy every day. Yesterday was a bit of an off day I hosted a birthday party for my one year old son and I made the cake. I did not bother logging any of the calories for the food yesterday as I am sure I would have been in the 5,000 range with just the cake I ate. Either way that is not the normal day to ...

Keeping up with exercising with less free time.

I have had much less free time recently. Work has been a bit more demanding due to some things going on that are all very good things but just much more work needs to get done in hours that are not 9-5 so I have had even less time to focus on writing blog updates and getting the exercising journey stuff done. That being said I have still found time to get it all done other than the updates to the blog. I have been able to get at least a small ride, a run, or some lifting in every day still. I only have about an hour most of the days of the week including the weekends. With having two kids and other family members having kids with the days getting nice there are a lot of gatherings and things to do with the kids that takes up my time on the weekends. Either way I am sticking true to getting the exercising done but posting about it might be a bit harder. I still very much enjoy the idea of posting about this journey and blogging about it for the fun of it so there will be more update...

Still on the journey and exercising every day.

I have still be exercising every day and feeling okay about myself, as far as health and body goes anyway. There have been lots of things that have got in the way of my journey that I have not let stop things but do make me feel down and that is the reason things have not been updated here in a bit. When I sit down to type out a post I end up thinking about other things I could do with the short amount of time I had and I end up doing nothing with that time and not updating the blog either. Anway enough of that for now, it is time to write about the journey since my last post.  I have been going on bike rides and expanding the range of the bike rides as well as the speeds of the rides. I mentioned joining Strava and I have been trying to get as fast as I can on some of the segments I like. I have not got close to beating anyone on a segement but trying is fun for me and gives me a goal to strive for. I also ended up buying another bike for some extra fun. I have been riding mostly ...
