Still coughing, Still exercising!
Coughing from sickness but not stopping.
I have been sick for what feels like all month but it has mostly been runny nose and coughing so I have keep riding. The other morning it snowed 6 inches and I could not help myself but to get out there and ride my bike. Somthing about the snow and cold makes rides kind of nice. Lack of people and the quiet of the snow is just perfect. Though wearing my neck gaiter also helped my nasal issues and lets just say I think my cold from the other week lead into a sinus infection and that is what caused me to feel sick for so long. Anyway the Walmart fat tire bike has been treating me well even though I ride it in the worst conditions. I do wish that there was one more lower gear the 6 inches of snow was tough to ride though.
The last ride I went on was one of the slowest I have done in a while. I am not able to ride in any deeper than 6 inches of snow and have any distance in the morning rides. I was only able to do 9 miles of my 14 mile morning ride in 1 hour and 30 minutes. I normally do that ride on my gravel bike in 45 minutes so its a slow ride and I am not getting as many miles in. I do however get to get some nice photos out of the ride.
I attempted to be a bit creative with the photos and take them with in the tracks of my bike. I am running a higher pressure than most might for a fat bike but the trails I am on are not for skiing or anything like that so I am not messing with any one else. That and the deep snow made me able to fit my cameara into the tracks and the morning sun hit them in a way that as cool. I also was able to get to areas on the beaten path that looked nice and were a lot of fun to bike to.
Lifting, Lifting, Lifting!
I have also still been lifting. I have added 5 lbs to every thing I have been doing except the deadlifts I put 10 lbs on that. No bar weight, Bench Press 80 LBs, Single arm Curl 25 LBs, Squats 95 LBs, DeadLifts 120 LBs. So far I am able to keep up the lifting and I still feel awesome from lifting. My plan is to keep that up and make sure that I can keep adding weight to the lifts.
I am off to prepare for another ride tomorrow morning! Thank you very much for reading have and wonderful day!
